Blade had his treatment yesterday and gave a bone marrow sample as well. The worst part for Him was not being able to eat the night before and that morning. Blade stayed with me on Sunday night and ate all night long up till midnight when he had to quit. (He said that my Roman Noodles were the best.) :) I did cheat a little bit and give him a cracker at 2:00 am with a sip of water, don't tell. The doctor stated that the bone marrow pulled out easy which is a sign that the leukemia cells are less, thank God. He anticipates them to be at 5% or less when the results come back on Wednesday. The doctor also stated that he has gained some weight and his platelet count came up on its own, so no transfusion is needed. Unfortunately his ANC count is still very low at 108, so wash your hands and no kissing or hugging! Next Monday Blade only has to have a chemotherapy treatment and no bone marrow test until the following Monday. For the most part, everything is as expected with his treatment. Blade is very strong and is doing very well, considering. Thank you for keeping Blade in your prayers.
Love Always, DAD
