Blade had treatment today...spinal and in his port. It was the last spinal for at least a month! Yay! All his counts were OK except his platelets are low and he may not be able to proceed with his treatment next week. If they don't come up on their own we will have to postpone it for a week to let them come up on their own. But if they go down or he starts bleeding he will have to have a transfusion. He is having labs done Wednesday and Friday to check his counts.
He is feeling kinda icky today...he usually does on the day of treatment. And the vincristine (the chemo he has had the past 2 weeks) seems to make him vomit more than anything else. He has felt really good the past couple weeks...had more energy. And his cheeks are almost back to normal! lol He still has a lot of hair...it falls out a lot too! But it was so thick to begin with he may just hold on to it! we will see.
He has been keeping up on his grades...He has 3 A+, and 2 A's! the other 2 classes he doesn't have a grade in because hes not there to participate. But those grades are awesome!!! Especially for a boy that has felt so crummy! So proud of him!
