Sorry it's been a while that we've updated...
last Thursday the 11th  Blade got a fever and was vomiting so we had to go back to PMCH.  We ended up staying until Tuesday the 16th.  He had been pretty icky all week anyway and spent most of the week sleeping.  So when we went into the hospital they did all the blood work to be sure it wasn't a bacterial infection.  it wasn't thank God.  They gave him antibiotics and fluids while we were there.  His anc count got really low (112) but all his other counts were pretty good.  They did an ultra sound on his belly because he was having pains...it turned out all OK.  We stayed until his counts were good enough and he had no fever for 24 hours.  Joy came and stayed with us...that always makes the stay a little better.  She is lots of fun and loves to play and entertain Blade!  And its good for mom too!  I got to go to brother Simon's first basketball game Saturday because she was there.  I normally don't leave him but i can t miss out on the other boys activities.  I think it does us both good to take a breather every once in a while...But i miss him horribly when i am away from him!
Home care is coming Friday to draw labs to be sure his counts are gonna be good enough to continue treatment on Monday.  We had to skip this week obviously since he was sick...a good break for him though.  Monday starts the 2 weeks of  chemo for 4 days in a row and oral chemo everyday.  it wasn't bad on him the last time so hopefully its the same this time.
